Special Need Cars
The Push/Pull hand control pivot point for the control is on the left-hand side of the wheel close to the handle, this allows for a shorter stroke and greater leverage. In addition to the pivot point, the handles position is at a slight angle. It allows for multiple hand positions to reduce the strain in hands.
It has a horizontally installed handle for easy grip. The handle can be installed either on the right or left of the steering wheel. To accelerate, the driver pulls the handle toward the steering wheel and pushes the handle away toward the dashboard for braking.
Push Right/Angle controls, body doesn’t pivot or move when the accelerator is applied. The operator pulls the horizontally installed handle down in a right angle movement toward legs for acceleration and pushes away toward the dashboard for braking.
However, the unique design of the hand control lets the unit pivots solely at the handle when throttling, keeping the main body stationary. It can be installed either on the right or left of the steering wheel.
